Back in July I wrote about my new photo gallery (link at top). I've now reworked it and added a shopping cart so you can order prints, which I'll make myself.
The old gallery showed EXIF information (make and model of camera, shutter speed, etc.) and even had a link for some images that showed you where they were taken on a Google Map, but those features are now gone. (Or, at least, gone for now... they may come back at some point.) The number of images is greatly reduced, too—now I'm showing only my best, or at least what I consider my best.
I'm going to make prints, too. Adding "Add to Cart" buttons to connect to PayPal's shopping cart system was really easy.
The automation from the previous gallery is still there: All I have to do is upload a JPEG. The image title is extracted automatically, the thumbnail is created, and the shopping-cart buttons are provided, all by the small PHP program on the server.
