Lots of people lately have been looking at some slides I put together about 3 years ago for a talk I gave to our local UNIX User's Group.
One of the slides presented Conspiracy Theory #2 in pictures.
I'm sure everyone is dying to know what the pictures mean and what this conspiracy theory is all about.
So, here we go:
1. The FreeBSD daemon is based on the BSD daemon, drawn by John Lasseter.

2. John Lasseter went on to create Toy Story (and much more).

3. The character Woody was voiced by Tom Hanks.
|
4. Tom Hanks went on to star in Cast Away. His co-star was a volleyball named Wilson.

5. There's a volleyball game for the Xbox.
|
6. Bill Gates is responsible for the Xbox. And for Windows, too.
|
7. To settle a lawsuit, Gates licensed the letter X to Apple.
|
|
8. OS X has a FreeBSD layer in it.
|
So, this proves that the FreeBSD people stole their logo from FreeBSD.
