StaticSiteBuilder
I've just completed a new application called StaticSiteBuilder (SSB) that easily builds static websites that you can host for free or for very little, such as on AWS S3. (This entire site is built with SSB and hosted on S3.) You can download SSB from github.com/MarcRochkind/StaticSiteBuilder. I've written a short document that explains the problem it solves and how you use it.
